D escription: Available is this fabulous and Exotic Jaeger Le Coultre Travel,  Alarm 100% WORKING CONDITION that is around the size of a wrist watch. This one has been made in 1970's and one can see the design aspect of the 1970's in the case work.  An excellent part of this Alarm clock, is that it has it's own case, and carry pouch - this pouch is pictured along, and measures 52 x 58 mm, the case is 45 mm x 45 mm and 10 mm thick , that is time tested, and worthy of a larger mention - the calibre has been lovingly serviced, and maintains a + 10-15 seconds per day time run. It is important to note that since the case is a stand up case, in this position, gravity acts upon the upright balance wheel, and makes it slightly sluggish, so winding it up everyday to keep an optimum performance is indeed essential to maintain the time keeping. The case has seen significant minor scratches. The movement is in fine nick, and the parts have been working perfectly. The alarm sounds within 1-2 minutes on the preset time, which is the norm for alarm time pieces. So, to be able to have multiple alarms during the day, you must wind up the alarm section and this will give you the alarm sound, which is a very decent sound, not loud or blaring, it is a very discreet bell sound, which is pleasing to the ears. Jaeger-LeCoultre has always made movements of the highest quality !!! It is the only brand we know of that has supplied the same base movement to Audemars Piguet, Vacheron Constantin and Patek Philippe.  The movement on this one is the same caliber K911 that is used in some of their wristwatches, so you get an alarm clock with KIF shock protection! You have two crowns: one sets and winds the watch and the other sets and winds the alarm. As soon as the alarm sounds, a small hammer hits the pin on the back of the case. The face of the clock is painted to look like lapis lazuli. The watch face folds down, protecting the dial when the watch is in transit. The watch even has a date function that can be semi-fast. The dial is in excellent condition, with the tritium lume graphic items still in place on the hour markers.
