Hammond's RavensWood clock, classic Bakelite "Gothic Arch" style which looks like a Cathedral. This is a 'spin-to-start' clock. The name ‘spin-to-start’ reflects one of the characteristics of Hammond clocks, which need to be started by hand by spinning a small knob in the back. The clock will run in reverse if the knob isn't turned in the proper direction. The name "Ravenswood” came after Chicago's Ravenswood Ave., site of the first Hammond Clock Co. It is in beautiful condition considering its 90 plus years and kept accurate time for the couple days I had it plugged in. Cord is intact, good condition. I will pack this carefully, using double boxes and cushioning material. Please see all photos as they are considered part of the description. I have included a short video showing the clock working.
