Art Deco Major Bowes Ingersoll Gong Alarm Clock Patent 1931 Works!!
This is a rare "Major Bowes" art deco wind up metal gong alarm clock made by Ingersol. This vintage clock has a great deco look. The shape and design of the clock's hands are very stylish, with that large red dot at the end of both hands. The patent date on this clock is 1931. A clock like this recently sold for $172.49, but had much less patina than ours. It has been cleaned and serviced and is working great. Lots of great patina in the finish of this cute clock. There looks like a base of some sort is missing, this is how we found it. It is very cool clock, indeed. 5 3/4 h, 5 1/4 w x 2 1/2 d
