Rare Vintage Paris-dakar Motorcycle Alarm Clock

Up for your consideration is this handsome vintage Hanslin Motorcycle alarm clock in red, celebrating the Paris-Dakar Races. This was purchased new in the 1980's as a gift. Used for a little while-then stored without the batteries in original packaging. Lovingly preserved by our family as part of our eclectic life-long collection of oddities (check out my other listings for more unique and unusual finds!). Overall condition: RARE-LIKELY VERY FEW OUT THERE IN THIS CONDITION WITH THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING. USED but in good condition for age, materials, and intended use. As a boy's alarm clock, this thing should have been destroyed a long time ago...but this one is a true survivor! I got this as a boy in the late 1980's. I used it for the motorcycle revving alarm a few times, but it is pretty loud and too much from waking from a sleep...so I enjoyed it as a clock for a while...then packed it back in the original box without batteries for the last 30 years. Always in a climate-controlled environment and from a smoke-free home.
Minor surface imperfections (rubs/light scratches-stress spots/factory production variations (where it came out of the mold originally). Clock works with Quartz movement-alarm also works, but isn't perfect (timing is not exact, but it never was-it's plastic). Uses 3 AA batteries (not included with listing). Dimensions are approximately 10" Long X 3" Wide X 6.5" Tall.
