Very pretty Sheffield travel alarm clock in red leather folding case, one side has a painted scene of Venice with a gondola and a bridge. The clock does not work and I am not a clock expert so I made no attempt to figure out what the issue might be. Item is from a Seattle, WA estate sale where the formers residents came to the US from Germany in the early 1960's but age unknown. The clock is marked on the face "Sheffield Alarm West Germany" the back of the clock is marked "Germany" and inside the case is marked "W. Germany". Diameter is approximately 2 5/8" of the outer case, clock is 2 1/8". Case shows minor wear, appear to be leather, painted scene is on an unknown material. Scene does not appear to be hand painted but not sure what the technique was used for creating it. THIS ITEM IS BEING SOLD FOR PARTS ONLY AND DOES NOT WORK . Please see photographs for additional details. USPS shipping, US only. Thank you, Chantal
