Designed to be built into a case. I had mixed results looking up the patent dates. Jacob Kienzle was granted an alarm clock patent 9/2/1902 that I think best relates. Being sold for parts or repair, both mainsprings are good and it’s been ticking for a few minutes since I wound it, but it is not long term or accuracy tested. Case shows some wear including a couple of small dings. Minute hand loose. Please view all twelve photos for measurements and condition.
